We are now timing the contractions hoping the End is near! Each verticle line represents a contraction event.  The height of the line tells you how many minutes it was since the contraction that came before it.  There is NO indication of severity in the graph.  You can only see that on Gwen's face!! The x axis tells you the time in days of the pregnancy (DOP).  So the 280th day is really 26 May 2006.  The DOP number is centered on midnight of the new day, and time is increasing from right to left (Thus the latest contractions are easiest to view.  To see earlier days scroll to the right in your browser.).  The minor tic marks are hours of the day.
