As part of the 100 year celebration 12 of us were able to take excursion along the northern and western coast of Norway on the Hurtigruten shipping line / tourist cruise, which one of our Blom ancestors had been instrumental starting during the mid-1800s.

Gustav and Vigdis treated Hannah to a membership in the Polar Bear Society at Hammerfest, a town dear to their hearts!

We enjoyed the near setting of the midnight sun from the back of the Kong Harald as we left the Lofoten front behind.
